54 cal ML at 200 yards. Powder question?More?

I have a model 700 remington in 54 cal.

I am using the pyrodex powder pellets @ 60 grains each. I have been using 2 of them,,making it 120 grains of powder per shot.

Also using 250 grain sabots.

With a 209 primer. With a scope.

I have the gun sighted in at 100 yards,,and shooting 1" high at that range. It is very accurate at 100 yards!!

I tried shooting this at 200 yards,,,and was in shock that the sabot is dropping more than 2 feet. I cant be sure because I can't hit a 2 ft by 2ft target. I found some marks ,in the dirt, before the target,,so I know it is dropping badly.

I am wondering if I can add another powder pellet?? Making it 180 grains?? Will it get me closer at 200 yards? will the 209 primer burn that much powder??

I see the 50 cals shooting 150 grains of powder with a lighter sabot.50 cal pyrodex powder pellets are 50 grains each,,and most people use 3 of them.

I do not have that choice since my powder pellets are 60 grains each. It's either 120 or 180 grains??

I have looked on line and there is no information I can find about this. I was surprised!!

I am sure the gun will handle 3 -60 grain pellets,,but will it all burn or do me any good???
