Everyone on here says you can't get private land access without knocking on some doors, well I'm ready to do that! I'll be back downstate in a few days for a month to finish out the LAS. I hunt on state land a few miles from my house but never see anything except for tracks. However I'll see plenty of deer in the fields and AG land surrounding the state land. So I was thinking about getting a late antlerless permit for private land.
The only thing is late I'm not sure who owns the land. There's a wide variety of fields in a small area with few houses. I know one of them is an apple orchard/pine tree farm with customers on the premise, chances of getting permission on that land? Basically I'm just looking for some tips on how to find the land owner. Thanks.
