New rifle....old technology

I have very reliable information that Santa is going to leave a new Remington Ultimate M/L under the tree this Christmas.

I have been competing in N.R.A. black powder ctg. silhouette, and N.R.A. black powder target rifle mid and long range matches for about 25 years using black powder and grease groove or paper patch cast lead bullets. [535 grain bullets, 200 to 1000 yards.]

I'm convinced that there is no reason why the same old technology won't work in a "state of the art" modern M/L like the Rem. Other than the ignition system, EVERYTHING else is the same, right?

Nothing like a challenge huh?

I've got the usual modern components on order so I'll be experimenting with that stuff eventually too.

I'll keep you guys posted on the progress if I can get in some serious range time without freezing to death.

P.S. could you tell me how to post pics? Is it via photo bucket?

Thanks X
