Temptation

I really do not have a burning desire to complete my grand slam with a Osceola.. I really like traveling with a pocket full of tags with short easy traveling between hunts. Some day possibly, but the logistics and financial aspect of hunting Osceolas really puts it on the back burner..



Than today "the carrot was dangled".. Florida has a quite a few areas that are limited draws and preference points are required for a lot of the better areas.. I have a friend who drew one of the better units and gave me the option of being his "guest" hunter.. Essentially as a guest hunter I would have to have required licenses and hunt with the gifting hunter, but would give me the full legal jurisdiction to pull the trigger and complete my slam.



I really do not have a huge interest in completing my slam, but this would be by far the easiest and most economical means of dong so.. Plus hunting in March and leaving snow is alluring..



I refuse to fly, so I would have to drive.. The thought of that drive by myself for one turkey is a bit much.. But have another friend who drew and will be their in the same time frame and would share camp.. Hmmmmm..
