Accused of Spying...

I went out Sunday and cut down 25 or 30 large poplar/cottonwood trees in a relatively small area to open up the canopy and get some new growth going. It just so happens that I did this right behind the adjoining property owners house. Mainly because the deer absolutely will not go anywhere near that house so I want to block it off from their view. The house is fairly close to the property line.



I have no problem with the people that live in the house. I have known the husband for several years and we only acquired the property a year ago. Later that Sunday night my wife was contacted by the lady that lives in the house, upset because I was cutting down all the trees right behind her house and now I have a better view of their pool..... The pool by the way is literally no more than 5 feet off the property line. It was explained that we wanted the brush to grow up thicker and now she is complaining about making her back yard safe for her kids.... I don't know, but if it were me I would be happy the neighbor guy finally cut down the big cottonwoods that kept making my pool dirty.



I have been fairly upset about this and needed to just get it out there. Time to sharpen the saw so I can go cut down some more trees behind that house!
