Headed out about 3 pm. Went about 3/4 way to the barracks. Caught a nice perch about 10 minutes after setting up on a minnow and teardrop. Got two more smaller fish between then and 6:25. Then...the next 15 minutes got pretty crazy. Caught 8 nice fish before I couldn't see the fish anymore. Some nice females plump with eggs, and one of the largest males I've caught out there. He was as big as the biggest female. They even bit a bare glow teardrop. They also hit a gold Diamond Willow with red bead. The big females had minnows in their guts. That's usually a sign they're starting to put on the feedbag. It gives me hope that the fishing is just about to take off. :fish:
