I don't know if this has been discussed before, so I apologize if someone else has had this idea. I am a member at Promotive.com. It is a website that provides deep discounts on merchandise. Problem is, you have to work or be involved in certain industries, companies, or hobbies to get the discounts. The discounts are given to those who are members of "teams". I work in retail so I qualify for some discounts but not all. They have very good discounts on lots of outdoor, hunting, and fishing related items. I am currently purchasing a new pair of Smith Polarized sunglasses for almost $160 off of retail price. Redington, Scientific Anglers, Scentlok, and Camp Chef are just a few of the other brands offering discounts. I don't hunt so I might not recognize some of the other brands of hunting gear that might be available. Anyways, here's my point. Why can't we start a Michigan-Sportsman.com team so the members of this site can enjoy the discounts on the Promotive site. I haven't paid a dime to this site other than my purchases so it's free to join. Everything about the site is legit, and all of my orders have arrived exactly when they should and exactly as described. I wanted to get some input from others on this site and also wanted to know who needed to be involved to properly use Michigan-Sportsman.com as a team. I think we can save a lot of people a lot of money if we get together and start a team. Let me know what you think.
