Custom pot-style turkey call with a slate calling surface over a walnut soundboard. Pot is beautifully figured claro walnut.
The beveled edge of the call is stippled for a functional grip as well as an attractive look. The bottom of the call is also stippled and inlayed with elk bone.
I dedicate many hours to each individual call I produce, making each one of a kind. Each call is handmade and must meet my strict tolerances and sound requirements before I'll even consider selling it. If I won't hunt with it, I won't sell it. No exaggerations, this call is a gem. The forgiving slate surface over the wooden soundboard produces an amazingly loud yelp with fantastic rollover, as well as crisp cutts and soft purrs.
I'm asking less than 1/2 the price of some brands that can be bought at the big box stores, and would put this call against any regardless of price or name. Also, as with every call I've sold during close to a decade of call making, if the buyer is not 100% happy, I'll gladly buy it back.
