Trophy Buck Lottery let’s wait and see

Letters of the suggestion of doing away with the combo license in lieu of a trophy buck lottery license have been written and some have been mailed and some are waiting to go out.



I know the consensus around here is that I don’t stand a chance in HELL of making a difference, but here we go.

I for one, hope that legislator’s adopt this idea.

Or at least just look at the idea and maybe tweak some of it to help make things better for Michigan’s deer hunting.

At least I feel like I’m trying to do something and make a difference.

Even if it’s only that I have planted a seed for thought for future use.

Now even if my suggestion fails remember that as you push for state wide APRs you are strengthening my suggestion that the hunters of this state want bigger bucks.

If you are successful with implementing APRs it will show the value in bigger bucks and maybe then the thought of protecting some of the trophies each year will make more sense.



When I said before that I had already mailed letters it was only part of that failed April Fools Gag.

I have less than 10 days and I return to the hospital, hope that there is a response before then.
