Took the kids fishing wed. Morning to the annual kids tournament then played at the beach til it was go time. Headed out to the shelf and slow picked at em. Fish are staying in the 140/180fow range. Lots of shakers and jacks. Highlines w/ orange spoons up top, dipsys w/ flashers and squids taking fish, all our bigger fish on riggers w/ meat down 120... not bad start except for my crew slept the whole time leaving me w/ chinese fire drills and loss of gear. Still managed some decent kings solo, and alot of tiny toss backs. The key seems that a north troll would only produce for us, 140/200 fow. 45 to 120 on riggers. Dipsys 150 back. 50/100/150/200 coppers all produced. And a but load of babies on 5 color leads. Good luck out there, we will be playing around all weekend, tournament time from here out.
