Matzuo Zander Shad Deep 9 MZS9D Depth????

Does anyone have any experience trolling with the Matzuo Zander Shad Deep 9 for walleye? The package and Matzuo website say that this lure will dive to a depth of 10-20 ft, however the precision trolling app for this lure says that the maximum depth it will dive is 12 feet. I contacted precision trolling about a possible error. They said that the max line out was wrong in the app and the lure still only reaches 12 ft at both 150 ft and 200 ft of line out. This just doesn't seem right to me because other lures that are similar, but weigh less dive deeper than what the package says.
