Walleye during the hex hatch

Hey all, just thought I would see if anyone had anything to say about the walleye fishing during the hex hatch. I know many people don't even bother to fish during the hatch because of the mess the mayflies can make. I normally still fish during the hatch because the walleyes are real shallow, feeding, and real vunerable to us anglers ;) I a lot of times will cast 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch tubes for them at night or in the early morning. Anyone else have any other tactics?? Thanks for any responses
