Since I went to college I have not been on this website much, or fishing that much for that matter, as I have not had a lot of free time. However, with this warmer weather today I decided to go fishing on a type 4 unmentionable near me which looked really promising but I ended up seeing nothing. My question is, with the rivers being so cold this time of year would the trout move further up the tributaries or further downstream to the Grand to find warmer water? Basically, would I have better luck fishing the Grand itself (for trout) or the tributaries?
