Manistee Salmon Run

If you were planning to jig for Salmon in Manistee Lake when typically would be the most favorable time to go? Obviously there are many factors but hoping for some advice/best guesstimate.



I was thinking first or maybe second week of August.

Thoughts? Any help/advice would be appreciated
