Fished the river with my dad for the first time yesterday at Vets park in bay city. We fished from 12:00-4:00 and landed over 170 fish. The problem being only two were solid keepers. Our dilemma was whether or not we should stay in that spot and try to sort through them or move to a different stretch of river. We decided to stay put and keep sorting through them instead of moving to a different stretch of river and possibly catching nothing. Here is my question. Would you guys move to a different stretch of river if all you were catching is shorts or would you continue to fish there in hopes there are some bigger fish mixed in?
