Upper river

Great day to be on the river. Will be taking my 9yo fishing partner out this afternoon when he gets out of school. I have been doing really well mid and lower river in the mornings and have only fished upper a few times. US side. So the question is, how has the bite been on the upper us side in the afternoon? Pm's welcomed. Trying to get him his first river walleye. And avoid the crowds. Thanks
