Also known as Lake Louise, this is a deep and clear lake located N/NW of Gaylord. My girlfriend and I have rented a cottage here for the week of July 6-12, and I was hoping for any fishing info/advice that I could wrangle up. Unfortunately I won't be bringing a boat with me, but if anyone knows of boat/canoe rental in the area, I would almost certainly take advantage.
As far as the fishing goes, I've done some research and know that there are several species worth targeting: splake, smallmouth, perch, and big pike. I've never fished for splake, but would love some consultation and/or tips. If anyone knows about this lake or has fished it before, I'd love to hear some feedback!
