Where to start?

Ok my hunting ends sunday, i will probably not even be looking to take another deer but rather do more observation and thinking. I took monday off so i can start doing something, here is my plan i am going to walk in all the places i have never been in and i am going to hinge a few sumacs as that for now is the only thing i know for sure. I will be taking close up tree pictures for id and some other pictures for your thoughts on what to do going forward. I think it sounds like a plan, anything else i should be doing or thinking about?
