10/22 SCR Casting

Got out last night about 8:15 to try and catch a couple wallys. Got there and surprisingly found the water very cloudy, dropped the white twister in and it vanished after about 6 inches . Was figuring it was gonna be a slow night, casted for awhile with nothing at spot #1. Packed up and moved, found the minnows everywhere at spot #2 knew there had to be walleye around, but struck out again. Moved again to my go to spot, 3rd cast a fish smashed the twister 5' from me and came right to the surface. Somehow I grabbed the net with me left hand and slid the fish thrashing about across the surface right into the net in what seemed like 3 or 4 seconds . Was a nice chunky fish approx. 20 inches or so. Seen a couple fish hit the surface in the next 10 minutes and I figured I was gonna get another but 20 minutes later, nothing.

Decided since the fish were hitting the surface I would cast a bomber, since I hear they are the the lure to cast. 30 minutes of the bomber produced nothing so I packed up and made a major move up river hoping for clear water. Was not to be be, casted another 30 minutes there and called it a night at 1:15, was getting dam cold out there.

Still waiting for my 1st multiple fish night . Maybe next time........
