The neighbor's 80 ac. of ag. field this summer was wheat. Last of July he harvested it and must of then planted red clover for natural nitrogen. The field is a lush of red clover 1'-2' tall and the deer just love being in it day and night and don't seem to like what I have to offer.
My 40 ac. is right beside it and has a total of 25 ac. of switchgrass, big blue stem, little blue stem, 5 ac. of different white clovers, 4 ac of speckled alders, 1 ac of alfalfa, 5 ac of corn. On the other side of mind is In-laws 40 ac of woods.
Question: Normal farming practice will that lush clover be turned over to bare ground this fall yet or left till spring?
