Fish point youth hunt

Got to fish point nice and early after dodging hay bales on m6 and plenty of icy back roads on the g o s route through no where. I can say I've been to Vassar now. Not sure what a Vulcan is though.

Drew 10th and with the help of daily updates from a gentleman on this site we ended up one zone upwind of our first pick. The guys coming out of our field offered great info too.

Move the jeep step out and there's a pike of crap and t p right there. Next to a foot bridge. Not in the trees across the road. Watch the guys in low 20's light up some cormorants and then the guys in 22 or 23 took some solid 60+ yard shots folding one bird and sailing two they bad no chance to find. One made it to 28. You don't glide that far if shot at a reasonable range.

We busted hump to be set up by one at birds were flying and by 1:30 had four down. They did many laps before settling into tbd decoys offering shots in feet not yards. Then our down wind neighbors showed up with their sixty yard shot guns and shot at everything in the first swing. Interested gliding birds that someone could have landed. They dropped one crippled two but I give them credit, they walked out and spent a void mi.Ute or two looking.

We moved to the blind to have lunch and get out if the cold water. About hours moved back to the spread and killed two more since the wind died and they could come straight into our spread.

Shot at six killed six found eight as we pulled some out if the corn that we didn't shhot. Ducks flying in on the walk out were crazy.
