Southern Michigan may get wolves sometime soon. My brother just sent me an email that the Illinois DNR closed a section of land next to his lease to hunting due to the fact that there is a confirmed population of wolves in that area. This was a section of land that his hunting friend has a lease on which is private land. The land involved is in NW Illinois and it has been determined that they are wolves. They are more than likely 150 miles from Michigan but that would be about three or four days. With any luck they will populate and move northeast. They figure that these are from Wisconsin
