Building brush piles as a block or screen

I have a north fence line that I want to block or screen the neighbors from shooting onto my property. I don't have any trees close to hinge or drop as a screen. My thought were to create brush piles placed strategically to persuade the deer and neighbors to travel a different path. Any ideas?
