ISIL in Afghanistan???

Won't happen according to quite a few new anti Taliban/anti ISIL militia that have been forming over the past year. There is a new group of former Mujaheddin in Northern Afghanistan approx. 5000 strong who call themselves MARG, which is the word for "death" in Dari. They have apparently met with the Balkh Provincial Council Office offering their service in fighting the ISIL/Taliban threat coming from the U.S. pull out. They are now active in 5 northern Afghanistan Provinces.

According to MARG, former GITMO detainee Abdul Rauf Khadim that was turned over to Afghan authorities in 2007 and escaped detention in 2009 (khadim was supposedly killed by a US drone strike 9 FEB 2015) was attempting to form a ISIL fighting force in Helmond, and there is, in fact, evidence he did set up fighter training camps there. According to the Afghan national Directorate of Security (their FBI) has stated that they have no strong evidence that ISIL is even in Afghanistan, let alone erected active training camps. MARG says ISIL is there and have also built a training camp in Farah and restive Khak-e-Safid district.

MARG is not alone in this, many anti Taliban/ISIL militia groups have sprung up over the past year. Most notable is a group formed by former Mooj Commander Haji Mahdiyar that has been estimated to be a large as 20,000 strong. he has stated that they have approx. 300 former Mooj commanders actively recruiting and training new militia members everyday since last year. Another group made up of mostly Turkmen are forming in the North, they are former members of the Northern Alliance. The Taliban is in for a very rude welcome once we pull out, its not going to be the rout by the Taliban that most people say it will.

Myself Im very happy to hear this good news, it would be BS if the Taliban did take over after we have spilled precious American blood in Afghanistan. This will probably be infectious with quite a few anti Taliban groups forming all over the countryside. Finally some good news coming from the Coalition pullout.
