Gents, been here since 9/17 and punching out in a.m. BSR has maybe, just maybe 30-40 fish in entire river and water is HIGH!!! All the blow and rain last night changed nothing....still same number of fish..maybe less....57 degrees at bath house, big storm last night, and it is 9/20, so form your own salmonfishology on why only a scant # of fish. Went to Betsie yesterday and scouted area near M115. Yes. few small single fish here and there and a guy here and there with 1 on stringer. Checked out PM in lower areak... saw a fish flop here and there but empty stringers guys. Yes, I don't live here and I drive 300 plus miles to get here every year. I am sure the local guys have their holes and can still pluck em out but for me I came up zilch. If u are driving a distance to come up it is really not worth it. Save your dough for another year. Worse than 2010 run!!!! When alewives come back..which I hope they will...the kings will hopefully be back. Hate to be a Debbie downer but I speak the truth bros. Oh, PM lake had 1 boat tonight on it!
