I've been doing a lot of looking for sillouette diver decoys but haven't found much but homemade Y boards with scoters and sea ducks. I did however stumbled on a image of a vintage sillouette decoy board from the 1950s that sparked my interest.
And after seeing the sea duck Y board sillouettes I liked the old style better with 4 sillouettes spread out farther then the Y.
Also been reading about coroplast and knowing that I have goose sillouettes, I made a standard template for divers and got the shape I wanted to make my own coroplast sillouettes.
First made a rough stencil from foam board and shaped it to my specs.
Then transferred that outline to same thickness plywood.
Now traced that out on a sheet of coroplast ( old political sign ) and cut it out on the bandsaw, which I should be able to cut 4 to 8 at a time and have as many as I need for late season or next season.
