I'm at a lost on the grand down town

Ok I live a few block from the 6th street dam. So I went to give it a try. Wow I am lost. Never have I seen people fish the way they are down here at the dam. 7foot leaders sinker hooked right up to the three way swivel and just a tiny bit of bait. Looks to be maybe yarn. So small was hard to see.

I grew up up north on the east side and did my fishing on Huron. So this is all new to me.

Maybe I could tag along with someone one afternoon.
