I have the opportunity this year to hunt an area that is archery only. I've thought about using a crossbow, which would be similar to my shotgun run and gun style of turkey hunting. But I would rather shoot a bird with my compound. My issue is that my doghouse blind isn't large enough for me to comfortably draw my bow without being detected by the keen eyesight of a turkey.
So I ask the experienced turkey bowhunters, which ground blind do you have or would recommend?
I hunt a variety of areas from hardwoods to field edges. And would possibly use this blind for deer hunting in the future. Although I'm confident if I can fool a turkey then I'd be fine with a whitetail. Don't know if these will change opinions, but thought I would throw them out there.
Thanks in advance!
