which scope

I just purchased and RRA AR With a bull barrel for coyotes and shooting targets most likely out to 500 yds. I'm trying to decide which scope to put on it. The two I have settled on are Nikon Monarch 3 4-16X50 with BDC or the Vortex Viper HS 4-16X50 with BDC dead hold. What are your opinions? The budget is around 500$ Does anyone have experience with either one of the these models in particular?
