Closest pier salmon trout action from Cadillac

I will be in Cadillac next week for for work. I may have a few hours to fish. I posted in another thread about Lake Cadillac, but I would honestly rather catch some kings or trout. A, what is the closest pier to me? B, would I be wasting my time and should I just stay around Lake Cadillac?
