Went out yesterday before the storm in hopes of catching a pike. When I float the raisin I see one most of the time in a certain spot.. Looked to be a good fish about 35 inches or so. Instead of taking my boat I walked down to the spot where I seen him last and stepped in the water.

Under my feet and sediment clouds filled the shallows I was walking in.
I immediately casted out on the edges of the weeds in hopes he would come back and stripped my streamer in fast and sure enough right at the last second he came up and followed it out of the water about 6 ft from me...
After fishing for a while I came back to this spot and casted.. He snatched it up and I fought him for a while. No net or pliers so it took longer than normal.. Put him back and got out Of the water just before the monsoon started.
