Here's the obituary information for Ray "Jighead" Weber
Ray passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit following a long courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. Age 53 years. He was born May 20, 1961 in Bay City, Michigan. Ray was employed by Pyramid Paving Co. as a grader operator. He was a member of the Michigan Sportsmans Association. Ray had a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife the former Dawn M. DeRosia whom he married November 4, 1989, his children and their spouses; Raymond (Stephanie) Weber II, Michael (Angelia) Weber and Nichole (Brandon) Richards, his grandchildren; Alaina Rae, Rainie Sue, Cole Wade, McKylah Marie, his mother; Sue Weber-Pobanz, four brothers and their spouses; Paul (Kim) Weber, Lonnie Weber, Jason (Valerie) Weber and Danny (Alaide) Weber, his grandmother; Arlene Potter, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Moni (Randy) Hubbard, Jason (Kim) DeRosia and Jeremy DeRosia. many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Weber.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be The Rev. Sharon L. Volker with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
