I was in our plot this past weekend and noticed that some of the brassica blend was starting to yellow as though it was lacking nutrients. It now appears I will be back on the property this weekend Friday and Saturday. Currently they are calling for rain on Sunday and I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to throw some fertilizer down ahead of that forecasted rain?
I have about 20lbs or so of Urea left over from applying urea a few weeks back. Was thinking of getting some 12-12-12 or 19-19-19, mixing in that remaining urea and spreading.
Will it help revive the yellowing plants at all? Is it too late in the year for it to make much of a difference?
It was just some areas of the plot, not the entire thing, and other areas still look good (other than the weeds ). Not opposed to buying the fertilizer if it will help but if it's pointless I'll save the money.
Been a frustrating and confusing year for this plot.
