Line= 20# Trilene Flourocarbon
Hook= #2 Octopus by Gamakatsu
Beads= 1 bead at head of setup ( typically I make this a black bead believing it gives them something to hone in on as far as the crawler head causing less short bites. Then a quick change clevise, I use a larger size making it easier to change Colorado blades. Follow up with 7 beads of choice in all same color or 2 seperate colors matching blades.
Lenght= More people probably dispute this than anything, I tie approximately 30" total lenght. Again personal prefernce.
I personally like a 2 snelled hooks about 3" apart. This allows the back of the crawler more natural action. This also causes for more misses due to short bites. To each there own, weigh the difference make a choice.
Lastly get some "tackle buddy" to put them on. Nothing worse than spending time on the water and trying to untangle a rats nest of harnesses.
Redneck outfitters has a dive chart you can print and laminate if pulling behind inlines weights.
