Oldie but goody . It's a 2074 Larson oops yea 1974 re-condition Tri-hull.

I accidentally damage my lower unit on my 85hp.Johnson . I bought a horizontal shaft for it from a marina in Conn. Come to find out the virtical shaft is damaged and to make maters worse some seals needs to be replaced . My marine mechanic said it would be cheaper to just buy a re-built lower out board unit. If I did that I would be out the cost of the horizontal shaft about $375.00 . I need an honest opinion . I'm on a limited income but I want to save our ship .it's my SOS call out to Michigan -Sportsman family and friends .
