Its more than the law. I just said that because its a fact and easy for everyone to understand.

I don't know why they are what you call sacred, but I, for one, love the challenge of targeting and catching them fairly regular. Its nice that I can go out and catch one or maybe two in a trip. To me it feels good to catch and release them unharmed.

Can you provide data on which lakes have had fishing destroyed by musky and/or pike?

Just FYI, some of the best musky lakes are also awesome walleye lakes...
