Let's see: stray shot, non-so stray shot from a cripple getting center punched right next to a decoy (22 hits), getting run over in the dark, getting run over in the light due to my sheer lack of boat driving talent, untrained golden retriever puppy with needle teeth retrieving every last one of them instead of the flopping around cripple outside the spread in plain view, getting banged on the side of the boat, dropped on the tails, stepped on. Pretty much standard fare for late season diver decoys when you're picking them up in an ice covered boat with numb hands and aren't too careful about wrapping them up and putting them nicely in the slotted bag.
They are tile mastic over blue sytrofoam. I think maybe the molded ones have denser foam to start with and would be more durable, except to shot and needle puppy teeth!
My corkers are holding up much better, but then I'm way more careful with those.
