Lol...I regularly catch and eat channel cat-often thought of as a "rough fish" up here. But in much of the country that's THE fish.

I've fried up smaller sucker fish and it was really good.

Never tried bowfin...not sure i'd like to.

I have heard sheepshead (freshwater drum) is tasty- haven't tried that one yet- but I may.
