Area of the river?

If you were heading out tomorrow morning, where would be a good spot to start? I'm not looking for hot spots, just something fishable. I wish I was set up for trolling, so that rules out the bay. Any help would be appreciated and I will report conditions and if we do any good. Thanks and good luck
