Maple Evaporator

I know a guy who wants to sell his pans and all the associated gear. He has aged out of it and his kids aren't interested. I think his main desire is to see the system continue to be used rather than asking a high price, though I haven't asked.

I think it can handle sap at the "hundreds of gallons" level. It is not a 21st century system, not even close. Wood fired.

He lives in the Kinsley area.

I would love to get into it but I have neither a stand of Maple I could tap nor an ability to be in Michigan at the appropriate time. Maybe in a year or two I will quit working in the south in the winter...but I would still need a Sugar Bush.
