Mecosta County Lakes Report

So I just took a new job at Ferris State and am living outside of Mecosta. This is my first year ice fishing Mecosta County. I haven't seen a thread for any lakes in this area, so I figured I would start one. If anyone has any tips or lake suggestions, feel free to post here. I will be posting my excursions.

I live on pretty lake and ice fished that for the first time last weekend (I had been going back down to Kent County for first ice as I have two really good private lakes to fish down there). Went 6-9 on pike with tip ups. Fished about 13 ft of water right above the weed line. Biggest was only 26 inches though. I will be exploring the Martiny Chain of lakes this weekend and will post back how I do.
