Props to Tom Izzo

With the coaching success he has had in E.L. he still pushes for their education.
In the land of one and done, most of his guys have returned just to continue playing for him.
Up till a couple seasons ago, he had put everyone of his kids into the final four, that's a huge task.

With the win last night vs the Badgers, they should now get into the tournament. Will be the 20th straight season and current longest streak.
As bad as the team has been this year, they are still a team that no one wants to see as their first round matchup. Even at a 10-12 seed, they may end up as the favorite to win first round. Sweet 16 is about where they will fizzle, but if they get to that game, and match up is right, they could end up in elite 8.

I'm a big fan of Izzo, and even with last years tournament failure and the down season this year, he is still one of top 3 coaches on the hardwood and will go down as one of best ever. I'm glad he didn't leave for the pro's and hope he sticks around a bit longer. A couple off years doesn't in any fashion take away from all he's accomplished. A second championship is needed to solidify him with the masses. Those who know the game enough know that one championship in the NCAA is a tough feat.
