Planted these RR Sugar Beets on June 12 (2-3 weeks later than I should have) but they are starting to come along well now. They are a little thin in spots for two reasons. 1 - the dirt was soft as we had been cultivating it to pick out rocks, and 2 - This was my first year using a no-till drill which I am still getting used to. These are two different 0.5 acre plots which were planted the same day. One was not protected with fencing and the second had e-fence protection from the start....Sugar Beets at 44 days
