Vinyl records never really disappeared. Some jazz musicians continued to record on them even while the rest of the world was going with plastic CDs and digital storage without something physical to hold onto. Several years ago I noticed that they were making a small return for rock and even some pop recordings. Times are changing. Last November I went to Barnes and Noble to pick up a book and a DVD. Their vinyl section was pretty close to the same amount of floor space as the movies...Vinyl Coming Back
